Our story
Oakwrights was founded in 1999 by carpenter, Tim Crump, and his business partner, Nick Price.
Tim’s practical construction skills and passion for beautiful architecture provided the foundation for Oakwrights to become the UK’s leading supplier of bespoke residential buildings.
With a belief that customer service, teamwork and technical excellence are essential ingredients for building high quality houses, Elements by Oakwrights was established to meet the growing demand for homes with greener credentials that are better and healthier places to live.

We provide approved panel detail and documentation to support your projects, making the design and build process smoother for you and your clients.
Our comprehensive services also include joinery and dormer construction, reducing onsite build time, and as the sole UK distributer of AeroBarrier we can ensure your designs are built to the highest levels of airtightness. With dedicated site teams across the UK we can manage panel installation efficiently, delivery sustainable structure with expertise and reliability.

Booking a tour of our workshops will provide you with first-hand insight into the exceptional care, creativity, and craftsmanship behind our work. Whether you’re an architect or developer looking for a build partner or a self builder looking to build your own timber frame home, we welcome you to experience our work up close.
Following your arrival, you’ll be greeted by a member of our team who’ll accompany you – beginning in our frame and panel system design offices, before progressing into the workshops purposefully positioned below.
